What you need:
- A Beach Ball
- Washable Marker Pen
What to do:
- Write Instructions: Use the marker to write fun actions on the beach ball. E.g. “Do 5 star jumps”
- Stand In A Circle: Ask the children to stand in a circle to explain the rules.
- Toss The Ball: Children throw the beach ball to someone in the circle.
- Do The Action: When a child catches the ball, they must perform the action closest to where their hands landed.
- Continue The Game: After completing the action, the child throws the ball to someone new!
Tip!
Extend the learning by asking the children to come up with their own action ideas to write on the ball giving them a sense of ownership and creativity.
