Located in Walton, Tennis Close, this Fennies Nursery opened in 2021 and since then has been one of Walton’s more renowned nurseries. Walton, Tennis Close is a meticulously designed nursery with bright and spacious rooms that are tailored to the unique needs of each child. Their spacious rooms allow the children to develop their independence and act on their curiosities which are both pivotal parts in a child’s development through their early years. The garden at Fennies Walton is an amazing outdoor environment where the children can explore features such as their mud kitchen, their den or even the stage to act out role play scenarios fueled by their imaginations. Our Walton Team have a vast amount of experience and continue to create worlds of wondrous imagination where the children can be whatever they want. Evelyn is our Nursery Manager at Walton, Tennis Close and is one of our most experienced managers with over 25 years of experience in the sector. This allows her to confidently develop strong partnerships with parents to help them feel secure and supported. Our parents love this nursery due to the supportive environment that Fennies Walton creates, giving them that peace of mind while they are at work.

Your invoice will be issued 10 days before the start of the following month. Your fees must be paid before the 1st of every month for the upcoming month. 

Fees received late will incur an administrative charge of £30.

Yes! We have an amazing garden at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close, that spans across the whole nursery, giving every room free-flow access and enabling children to seamlessly transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. We place great value on the advantages of outdoor learning. It provides a canvas for their imaginations to soar and nurtures their mental well-being by offering a refreshing escape, channels their boundless energy into active play, and plays a pivotal role in their physical development.

Why do all the rooms have white walls at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close?

We worked alongside Dr Sam Wass on the designs we use for the walls at our nurseries. At Fennies Walton, Tennis Close, we believe that children require calm and beautiful places where they can focus on enjoying learning and playing, hence all our nurseries are created with bright and spacious environments. White walls are used within these environments to provide a neutral background that enhances focus and reduces any visual distractions the children could experience. If the walls were to contain designs, it could lead to overstimulating the children, which could in turn, hinder their ability to focus on learning.

How do you make sure hygiene is maintained at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close?

We follow strict protocols at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close to adhere to a high standard of cleanliness, providing a safe and healthy environment for little ones (and our team). We have 2 housekeepers at each site every evening to ensure everything remains clean and hygienic.

As much as the baby room at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close may appear overly spacious, it allows for the furniture and soft dividers to be used to create dedicated, separate areas, maintaining a secure environment. All furniture used at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close is tailored to the developmental needs of each age group. By creating these separate areas, the team can conduct activities in smaller groups, allowing them to use the space effectively. Baby rooms strictly operate with a ratio of 1:3, and each child has a key person, ensuring that all children receive the adequate levels of attention they require to remain safe and continue their development through Early Years.

There are many items you should bring to your child’s first settle at Fennies Walton, Tennis Close. These include spare clothes, any ongoing medication or doctor's letters to verify medical needs, comforters, your photo ID, the child's red book, and a copy of their birth certificate (which will be made if necessary). If your child is bottle-fed, you should bring their bottle and formula, along with nappy cream. Lastly, please remember outdoor clothes such as a coat, hat, and gloves.
