Placements

Fennies Placements
Fennies offer placements for those who choose to study Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 at local colleges as well as work experience for school students. We aim to make placements the highlight of a student’s qualification where they have the chance to gain a real insight into the challenging yet rewarding work of childcare.
Offering work experience for Year 10 and Year 11
Helping students fulfil placement hours as part of their qualification
Explore a future career in childcare, experience working life and receive free lunch!

Apprenticeships

Fennies Apprenticeships
We currently offer Level 2 and 3 Early Years Apprenticeships at Fennies. These apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity to “earn while you learn” and give the best possible insights into the world of childcare. We offer our apprentices a supportive environment to learn the necessary skills and gain valuable ‘hands-on’ experience to succeed in the Early Years sector.
Up to 20 months (depending on level of apprenticeship)
A fantastic opportunity to become an apprentice with an award-winning nursery
Receive a competitive salary, up to 50% reimbursed travel and free lunches!

Do I Need Previous Childcare Experience To Join Fennies?

No! That’s the beauty of it! Many entry-level roles welcome candidates who are passionate about working with children, even without formal qualifications. We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

We provide a paid induction, ongoing training through our Learning and Development team and plenty of opportunities to progress from entry-level roles to leadership positions. Our teams are supported with mentoring and personalised development plans.
