What you need:
- A Ball (Any Kind)
What to do:
- Stand In A Circle: Have the children form a circle.
- Choose A Category: Pick a topic like animals, colours, or fruits.
- Start The Game: Explain the rules:
- A child throws the ball to the next person.
- Before catching it, the child must say something from the chosen category, e.g. Farm Animals.
- If they say the wrong word or drop the ball, they can either sit out for the round or restart with a new category.
Tip!
Extend the game by asking children to think of words that start with the same letter or rhyme with each other, supporting language development.
