What you need:
  • Ping Pong Balls (Or Small Sized Balls)
  • Jam Jars (Or Containers Like Bowls, Cups and Even Saucepans)
  • Paper Or Whiteboard
  • Pen Or Washable Marker Pen
What to do:
  1. Line Up Jars: Arrange the jam jars or containers in a row, starting from the largest to the smallest. 
  2. Get Your Balls Ready: Gather your set of balls ready to throw.
  3. Throw the Balls: Ask the children to stand behind a line and take turns trying to throw the balls into your targets.
  4. Score Points: Award points based on jar size – the smaller the jar, the higher the points. 
  5. Keep Track: Use a whiteboard or paper to keep score and celebrate everyone's efforts at the end!
Tip!
This is a great chance to introduce simple mathematical concepts. Encourage children to help you keep score and talk about taking turns.
