What you need:
- Leaves (Various Colours And Shapes)
- Hole Punches (Standard And Shaped)
- Bowl Or Box For Collecting Confetti
- Fresh Or Dried Flower Petals (Optional)
- Herbs (Optional)
What to do:
- Collect Leaves: Take the children outside to gather leaves. Encourage them to choose a variety of colours and textures.
- Add Flowers & Herbs (Optional): Pick fresh petals or herbs to add colour and scent. This enhances the sensory aspect of the activity.
- Dry the Materials (Optional): Lay out leaves, petals and herbs in a sunny spot to dry. This helps the confetti last longer.
- Punch Confetti: Use hole punches to cut shapes into the leaves. Let children collect their pieces in bowls or boxes.
- Sprinkle and Celebrate: Head outside and toss the confetti in the air! It’s a joyful, mess-free moment, and completely kind to the environment.
